About Us

Haberdasher Artisan Distillery specilizes in crafting small-batch whiskeys and gins in downtown Franklin. In 2018, Haberdasher became the first legal distillery in Johnson County since the Civil War Era. All hand-crafted spirits are distilled, aged, bottled and labled inside the historic Garment Factory Events building. Our inviting tasting room is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays offering craft cocktails, pours, flights and more. Haberdasher also books private events and private tastings inside the tasting room. Traditionally, a haberdasher represents a seller of fine men's clothing. During the Prohibition Era, the word took on new meaning, often representing those quietly selling liquor under the guise of tailored clothing.
