The Role:

As an Assistant Chandler and Sales Associate, you'll play a crucial role in both the creation of our candles and the success of our retail operations. This position is perfect for energetic individuals who have a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be dynamic, covering a range of tasks from assisting in the handcrafting of their custom candles to engaging with customers and driving sales on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in all aspects of their candle making, including providing guests with proper materials and instructions,

Engage with customers on the sales floor, providing knowledgeable recommendations and a high level of customer service.

Manage inventory, restocking products, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment.

Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card operations with accuracy.

Participate in setting up displays and visual merchandising to enhance product visibility and appeal.

Attend a mandatory, non-paid orientation session prior to store opening to familiarize yourself with our products, processes, and values.

Energetic and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for creating and selling quality products.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and customer service.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.

Willingness to learn and adapt to the diverse needs of the role, including candle-making techniques and retail operations.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Starting pay will be based on experience, with the opportunity for a raise after 6 months, contingent upon performance.
